Having many family photos of logging, Roy decided to dedicate a page to them.
All taken around Crescent Beach, British Columbia, Canada from the Christopherson family.

Letter - Portion of Pg 2 of 6 - Caroline TAYLOR Christopherson to Susie Briem March 1903, IMAGE 7351-DarkForces47
As indicated in this letter, in March 1903, Sigurdur had just returned from Vancouver area scouting out a new Icelandic Colony after Sask., and Alberta. They would buy property on the bluff and name it Ytranes.




Fig2. - IMG_SCAN_2213 - "Daddy's Loggers". Roy believes this was taken along the bluff in Crescent Beach, east of Surrey. Possibly by one of Sigurdur's children referencing daddy as Sigurdur. We will never know for sure.
